James/Franklin
I thought James Frain deserved a topic of appreciation. How awesome is he as Franklin Mott?
He's crazy yes, but he's fast becoming a favorite character.

Psycho for sure, but he gives us brief moments that he almost appears normal. I think that makes it even better, the many shades or layers of Franklin. The extremes from one emotion to another. James is doing a great job with this role.

I remember liking him a lot in the film, Where the Heart Is. He was also in The Tudors. Fantastic actor. Was it his character that AB was describing as the "scariest vampire" on the show, yet? I had always thought he was talking about Franklin, but maybe not. He may be crazy but I think Russell might be scarier right now...

Re: James/Franklin
I think Franklin will only get scarier from here on out. Imagine what he will do if anyone tries and succeeds at getting Tara away from him. I think he would stop at nothing and hurt anyone who tries to come between them.

- Spoiler:
- Like what happens if Sookie tries to help Tara, assuming Russell brings Sookie back to his house. Franklin will flip!

I love him! James is awesome.
My mom was so sad for him when he was crying, while I was laughing my arse off.

He reminds me of the cat in the movie Coraline. Franklin is a great character.

James Frain is a gifted actor, but I can't muster much affection for the Franklin character. However, his humor has softened me up toward him a little. I must admit he is hysterically funny. He must be bipolar.
I don't think he is the most dangerous vampire on the show. I would reserve that honor for Russell, but Franklin is certainly dangerous because of his psychosis and unpredictability. My guess is that he won't last the season, unfortunately.

I'm worried he may not make it past this season either
AB and the writing crew that created this character did a great job and James really brings him to life.

He's my favorite quirky character this season too. I didn't like him at first, but his humor makes him almost lovable.

I love how Russell is sitting there with blood all over his chin. Hey Russell, didn't your mama teach you to clean up?

I don't think so either. When Tara was choosing a weapon, I was yelling "Use the axe! Use the Axe!" Jason thought I was crazy. lol
