The Legend of Drizzt Series

Not romance, I know (*GASP*).

But it's Fantasy fiction, which I love just as much.

It's about a Dark Elf named Drizzt and his adventures escaping the binds of his life as a Drow in a heartless, power hungry, evil culture that he has felt apart from since his earliest cognizant recollections.

If you like D&D, then you'lll LOVE Drizzt. It's part of the Forgotten Realms. I'm on Book II of XIII (really, there's XVIII books in which Drizzt appears) and I'm already thoroughly invested in the outcome of Drizzt and his adventures. Drizzt even has his own Wiki page.
