Could you imagine the things they could do? Wouldn't be surprised if AB used it to creat a whole new adventure for the cast rather then use a plot from the books.

I would miss our shows, but I would be the first one there for a movie! I say bring on the movie!

Every suggestion is it would be an adventure that is separate from the books...It would be interesting to see it as something they might do between seasons....

I have mixed emotions about this news. As much as I'd love to see a cinematic screen-sized Viking, I fear that HBO would discontinue the TV series. On the other hand, maybe AB would be willing to do a series of movies. Now that would be cool.

While I think its a cool idea, and I would totally go. I worry that they may have issues getting all the actors on board (isn't that what held up the Sex and the City movies?). Plus one would think they would film the movies during the break in the show filming, which is when they might want to branch out for other projects. But who knows... guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I say if there is to be a movie it must wait till the TV series is /fin. Doing movies between seasons doesn't sound too appealing to me.
