True Blood Comics Series One

Here is the first issue of the comic book...let me know if you have problems downloading...
You might try one of these other links
If you are having trouble with this link, you may want to open it in Explorer...Mozilla/Fire Fox seems to have an issue with 4shared....so try to it in explorer....
I checked on this and there are a lot of issues with Mozilla and certain sites....so try to upload this file in your explorer

If you still have trouble, let me know and I will send it to you as a word document....Adobe Reader document by email takes too long to load......

Here is Comic Four...The final two come out in November and December respectively and I will post them when they come out...
Again, you will want to use Internet Explorer instead of Fox Fire/Mozilla to access 4shared because of some sort of issue with it..If for some reason you can't open it, let me know and I will email it to you as a word document...emailing it as an Adobe takes way too long....
The only glitch is, the size of the file for this comic is a tad bigger than Yahoo will send so I took out a page..I chose the least important page and it doesn't effect the flow of the story at all...Just a heads up....

Re: True Blood Comics Series One
So, here is my observation after sitting down to look at the comics all together and reading the stories and looking at the art....Please chime in with your opinion of it...
Some of the comic book covers are pretty good, but honestly, the anime ones look awful. I don't care for anime that much, but I understand the art form. So maybe it is not so much the art is bad, it's just I don't care for the look of anime...
The story had an interesting premise but they really didn't develop it as well as they should have. Instead of making a handful of comics around 20-30 pages long, I would have been willing to pay $40 dollars for a three hundred page coffee table style graphic novel with a more developed story line than buying them piece meal and having very abbreviated story...
The art in the book is an interesting mix of pretty good art that really looked like they used screen caps and put them through cartooning program. They were so obviously take from the show....Give me a day or so and I will put up some comparisons... Otherwise, unless you were following the story carefully, you might get lost as to who is who. The only consistent looking character was the Imp Shaloob. That was because he could look like anyone and not any particular person... But to give them credit, it is tough to draw famous faces. You know every line, every wrinkle and crease and mole and most of the time, they didn't even come close....
All in all, I felt a mixture let down and interest. I feel sort of cheated, but I know I will collect the next series too, just to have them as a part of collection. I know I am feeding into the cash in aspect of the comic series, but what the hey...

Yes, I agree with you, I get the sense that the comic book publishers are cashing in, really and it is a shame...
