Kindle Loans - AWESOME!!

So, my Kindle is now even more awesome!!!

Now, e-books can be loaned from one Kindle to another, for free. Actually, you do not require the actual Kindle. As long as you have an Amazon account and a Kindle app, e-books can be loaned and received. The Kindle apps are free to download to your PC or smart phone. The books move from your account to the loanee for 2 weeks, after which they are returned to your account. But, this only works with books where the publisher has allowed this. Hopefully, as it catches, more books will be available for loaning.

What I was thinking was that we can use this thread for Kindle users who are looking for a specific book, and would like a loan. Just post what you're looking for, and other users can peek in and see if they can help!

Cool! This feature has been available with the Nook for some time, my only problem is I don't know anyone to share with. So if anyone with a Nook or Nook app is interested let me know!

Seems pretty awesome to me. Im thinking about getting the BDBH books for my kindle app. :) 1 at a time of course.

any of you wonderful people that I love so much have the Game of Thrones books on Kindle? that's available for loan? I figured id ask before i bought them :)

I haven't downloaded them yet. I have a few more books to get through before taking on that task.
