Features of the Forum

I thought I would put up this little note in the Technical Questions department to sort of help you navigate the "House"
Admin and Official Business Well, that area is pretty obvious, always check there for announcements and greetings. From here we tell you about anything going on in the "House" that effects you: Policy changes, special events and activities, club meetings (like the Black Dagger Brotherhood literary circle and the Thorsday night meeting where we cuss and discuss the latest and greatest on Alexander Skarsgard and Saturday Night Live, where we get together, chat about the show, the books, and just reach out to fellow Truebies..warning though, we handle some pretty mature language.) If any of you set up a little club or activity and you wish to announce your activity, please let us know and we will fix you a thread here so you can make regular announcements about meetings and chat nights.
Members Only This is exactly what it means, this is for members only. If you are not a member or not signed in, you will not see this section. Here you will find threads like the Introductions thread, where you let us know a little about yourself, the Candle Room for when you need a little love and support, and a place where you can send birthday greetings to other members.
We also have Blue Moon Productions. This is where we do our Fan Fiction and we have established our Temples, our worship places for the various and sundry Characters who touch our hearts. These places are not for the faint of heart and candidness is allowed and in some cases encouraged. It all depends on the god or goddess of your attention.
We also have a place to post pictures of your mom and dad, your maiden aunt, your dog in a bunny outfit, whatever you so desire. And Fan Art. If you make siggies and avatars and other doodles we wanna see then and use them on our forum.
The Show is where we chat about the show. We have threads for the epis of past seasons and future seasons, we still comment on the old seasons and we have spoilers and news and any chances to see your faves up close and personal so share your thoughts and speculations with us. We wanna know what you think. And what you experience if you get to go to any of those events. And don't hesitate to post news, sometimes, I miss news, thought it is pretty hard for me to do that.
Off Topic Are you a movie fan? Are you a music lover? Do you like other shows and books not connected with True Blood? We like to know those things about you and you can put your ideas and recommendations here.
Other Features If you will look at the top of our forum page, under our banner, you will see a control bar. Forums of course will bring you back to the main forum index. Portal will let you see things like currently active threads, a calendar, a countdown widget, currently for the release of the DVDs and Blue Ray of Season Two and a few forum statistics and Who is Online, which will let you click on the "View the Whole List" and you will see a world map to see where visitors are located and where they are looking on the forum.
Our calendar is set up to tell us when members are having Birthdays and holidays and any other special dates..like when the next season starts.
FAQ's are set up by our forum provider. But if you have questions or comments please don't hesitate to ask God Speed or Aslinn or any of the higher level members who have been with us for a while. We are a helpful bunch.
Search lets you search for topics on the forum.
Members gives you a running list of our membership.
Groups is adminstrative groups like Admin and Mods.
Profile is where you can fix up a little information file about yourself and load signatures and avatars.
PM is Personal Message. If it is blinking, you have a personal message and you should check it out.
Off is Log Off
At the bottom of our forum is our chat box, where we have live chat. Just click on log in and you are in the chat box. We have regular meetings there so check our announcements so that if you are just looking for ordinary chat, you won't break up a meeting....

I just thought I would wake this thread up so that our new friends and some of our old friends can refer to our lovely features and take advantage of all the fun
