Shortly before midnight, in a gothic style event space hosting Friday’s Frye Company Fashion Week soiree in Tribeca, we caught up with “True Blood” actress Kristin Bauer (a.k.a. vampire Pam de Beaufort) who says that bloodsuckers rule. “I think vampires are rock and roll,” she told us. “With werewolves, once the ‘cool stuff’ begins to happen, they turn into . . . a dog?” Though Bauer lives in Los Angeles, she’ll be in New York tonight when HBO airs her show’s season four finale. That’s fine by Bauer, who says the Big Apple is more of a vampire town. “This city doesn’t seem to sleep,” she says. “We (in LA) get a ton of sunlight for a vampire.”
