Post  Fairy February 28th 2010, 5:55 pm

You may have already seen this, but Amazon.com has posted a brief synopsis of Dead in the Family, the next anxiously awaited book in the Sookie Stackhouse Series due to be released May 4, 2010.

Editorial Reviews
Product Description
The #1 New York Times bestselling Sookie Stackhouse series- the basis for HBO(r)'s True Blood-continues!

After enduring torture and the loss of loved ones during the brief but deadly Faery War, Sookie Stackhouse is hurt and she's angry. Just about the only bright spot in her life is the love she thinks she feels for vampire Eric Northman. But he's under scrutiny by the new Vampire King because of their relationship. And as the political implications of the Shifters coming out are beginning to be felt, Sookie's connection to the Shreveport pack draws her into the debate. Worst of all, though the door to Faery has been closed, there are still some Fae on the human side-and one of them is angry at Sookie. Very, very angry...
About the Author

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Council:

When we were members at the other forum, what we did was put a moratorium on discussing the book for right about 5 days after it comes out and then we appointed a day, that Friday, the discuss it, giving everyone a chance to read it at least once. I think that is a great plan to continue, and I have chatted with a few of you about this. and I think we all agree this would work for everyone.

Dead in the Family comes out May 4, a Tuesday. What do you say to having a special Dead in the Family/ Saturday Night Live discussion, giving us five days to read it. You may post on it noon Saturday day and then chat about it that evening with fearing you might spoil or be spoiled.

Let me know if this is not acceptable to you.

Thanks,
Aslinn
