*SPOILERS* S3 E4 Nine Crimes

he casting call for True Blood episode 3.04 has been released. Titled “9 Crimes”, this episode features characters bookies will recognize, along with a few new faces.

Surprising no one who has read the books, Debbie Pelt is being cast for this episode. She’s Alcide’s beloved ex and addicted to V. In her late 20s, she appears strung out and stubborn (oh, that’s an understatement Mr. or Ms. Casting Call Writer!). This is a recurring character.

Along with Debbie, we’ll see another woman in Alcide’s life: his sister Janice. She’s 32, fit and tough as nails. She fancies biker gear, horoscopes and psychics and is protective of her little brother.

Sounds like Jason is being challenged as Bon Temps’ golden boy with new character Kitch Maynard appearing on the scene. This 17-year-old is the new high school football star and hometown hero, which he enjoys rubbing in Jason’s face. Kitch is a recurring character. Look for him to get it on with his hot, 16-year-old girlfriend Tammy in his sports car. Kitch also has a fan in Donny, a member of the road crew alongside Jason who kisses up to the new town hero.

Poor Ann, a stripper, is exotic and striking, but “dead behind the eyes”. She’s glamoured and devoured by three vampires.

Jessica runs across someone from her past when Chip Welling, a clean-cut, all-American Christian boy recognizes her from Bible study. He’s relieved to see her alive…or so he assumes.

The Hotshot were community fills out a bit more with Felton Norris, the 20-something relative of Calvin’s. He’s a violent punk who strips Lafayette’s car and helps beat up Lafayette. This is a recurring character.

Where are all of these younguns coming from?? We don't want too many new faces or we'll all be lost in the storyline.

Hmm sounds extreamly intersting. I wonder where this story line is going to go with Jessica and this Chip character.

The actress that was cast to play Debbie Pelt is not what I pictured, but I'll withold judgment until I see her in action. It seems to me that AB is very enthused about Debbie Pelt so I expect her storyline will be a good one. Interested in meeting some new characters and hopeful that they will choose the right ones to hang around.

I hope AB doesn't create too many different storylines so that we get bogged down in minor characters. Maryann practically dominated S2, and the more characters that are added the less we will see of our favorite main characters.

I totally agree with you Fairy. The Maryann/Tara/Eggs storyline was really frustrating for me. I hope our dear Viking doesn't become a villian and I hope that great characters like Jessica and Sam get more screen time than Tara. Those are just my little wishes!

Mine too, the maenad plot got a little long in the tooth for me...and really after you have been to one maenad orgy, you have been to them all

I never thought Debbie was strung out in the books, but this will give her new dimensions and motivations. I am not sure about all the new young people, but I have to wonder if Felton tries to turn Lafayette for some reason or another. And maybe this new star boy that is stealing the spotlight from Jason will be adorably dumb like Jason :)

I am wondering about this Jessica/Chip storyline. I wonder if he goes to her parents and starts something up. Depending on what Bill did when he glamored them.

And the whole "stripping Lafayette's car, and beating him up" That will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Well at least we know Jessica appears to be doing alright this far. Her "problem" with the trucker hasn't been the cause of her demise over it at least!

Yes, will it does look like Franklin is working for Russell. And the person Cooter was referring to in the last episode is a were from Cooter's group named Johnson.

It looks like Talbot, Russell, and Bill had been chowing down on someone. I hope it wasn't Tara. There were so many disturbing scenes in this promo. I hope Bill isn't seriously suggesting to Russell that he kill Eric! We understand that Bill is probably still angry over Sookie having Eric's blood, but conspiring to kill him would not be a good idea. Hopefully he is just pretending.

It will be a long two weeks.
