Re: Episode 3.11 - Fresh Blood
The show was okay...
Sam- His cheese really did slide off his cracker. I'm having a hard time seeing him like this. I do like that he brought up the fact that everyone sees him as a good guy and depend on him too much for that. Tara was the perfect person to talk to about it. Their little hook up? I was okay with it because I do think they need each other.
Jason- This whole Kitch storyline is fine, but I don't know where they're placing it in the season. It seems like something they could have waited to do. We are at the end of the season and there are a lot of important things happening that this just feels out of place and unnecessary. He should have tried harder to look for Sookie. Jason, think about it...the vampire bar you visited in Shreveport?
Lafayette- Oh boy! Jesus scared me too. I don't blame Lala for trusting his instinct on this one. I do think Jesus is genunine, though. There's just something that might be dark in there...
Tara- I loved the conversation between her and Andy. He was so sincere that she knew she couldn't blame him or Jason. The only person to blame is Maryann. Tara, relax. You can breathe now.
Bill and Sookie- He really kicked ass in this episode! First with Pam then with Eric. I loved what him and Sookie were talking about in the car. Their idea of a normal life. I especially loved it when he said he would be a teacher. Doesn't surprise me at all since I always have a thing for teachers It was just sad because this life they talked about will never be likely for either of them. I liked that Sookie was honest with Bill about Eric and why she can't trust vampires right now. Bill was a man and listened instead of going crazy on her. Oh, and I like how Yvetta was the one to save Sookie. So unexpected and pretty cool of her to want to help (even if she is a gold digging whore).
Eric- I don't get why he handcuffed himself to Russell. I know Russell could easily get away if Eric went back inside, but there could have been an easier way, could there? He really was going to die for everyone. We'll see how he gets himself out of this. Oh, and I like how he included Bill in on the plan instead of keeping him in the dirt. I bet they loved fighting each other even if it was a set up.

By the way, did anyone else get really annoyed that they did the "In Memoriam" before the epsiode? They should have saved that until the end. Once I saw that I knew the episode was going to be pretty short. Maybe that's why they added it.

Re: Episode 3.11 - Fresh Blood
Wow, Sam really has a chip on his shoulder doesn't he? I mean, learn the word NO before you get all crazy!!! I did like the conversation between him and Tara, really puts it into perspective. Oh Lord Jason, really..........really, you LUV her??? Give me a break. Okay, I am seriously worried about our Dear Sookie, I mean, when you drain someone to the brink of death, twice, then give her MORE vampire blood, doesn't that almost, I mean almost, make her one too??? The "night"dreaming they were doing about being normal was to just sad, sweet yes, but sad none the less. I agree Violet, if Russel wanted to get away, he could just take Eric with him couldn't he? He is 3 times Eric's age and if he could kill Eric that easily then he could carry him off!! UGH, the wait is going to be torture. Pam, honey, I love you even more every week!! I disagree with your actions sometimes, but you sure know how to keep me chuckling! Although I do not think $14.95 for a bottle of collodial silver, a.k.a. Vampire Mace, is too much!!! Damn, HBO, you surprise me every week. Oh biscuit whore, going into cahoots with Maxine isn't your best move. I CANNOT believe we didn't get anymore Jessica and Hoyt. Oh Arlene, you should have known better. Terry cracked me up dancing around that hospital room like that. LaLa I say run, just RUN from HeySoos, put your best running shoes on and get the hell away from him.

Re: Episode 3.11 - Fresh Blood
There were parts of the episode I enjoyed and parts I didn't enjoy. I didn't like seeing Bill and Pam fight, and the only reason Yvetta saved Sookie was to spite Eric, not because she had any concern for her.
Sam is acting like a jerk, and I don't like what AB is doing with his character. I also don't like the time spent on the Jason/Kitch storyline. What the hell is the point?
The conversation Sookie and Bill had about their dream future was sweet, but we all know that won't happen.
Arlene's true colors are beginning to show. Poor Terry needs to find a good woman.
Though Jessica and Hoyt are talking and sharing blood, I don't think their relationship is out of the woods yet.
My favorite scenes by far were related to the main storyline with Eric, Bill, Sookie, and Russell. The scene between Eric and Pam was very moving. It was puzzling why Eric just didn't run back inside Fangtasia and lock Russell outside instead of cuffing himself to him. It was nice to see Eric and Bill work together if only for a few minutes.
I'm beginning to wonder if I'm a book purist because I find all the superfluous storylines bothersome.

Re: Episode 3.11 - Fresh Blood
I agree that there were some parts I liked and some parts I didn't.
I may be an Eric girl but I was sad when Bill and Sookie had that conversation, knowing very well that it will never happen. Yvetta saving Sookie was an absolute surprise, nothing like a woman scorned.
I am not liking the Arlene, Sam and Jason story lines at all. I mean c'mon get on with it already. Is she having the baby or isn't she? Is Sam going to really go crazy or not? Is Jason going to get over Kitch trying to break his record or not? Sheesh, get on with it.
You really could see that Andy was sincerely apologetic about Eggs and Tara knew it.
I wished they showed more Hoyt and Jessica, at least that was interesting.
I was almost in tears when Eric and Pam had their little moment, a maker with his child.
You could tell Eric so did not want to drink Sookie's blood, in all the ways he imagined it happening, that was so not it.
It killed me to see Eric burning like that. I don't know what he was thinking handcuffing himself like that.
I was glad to see Eric and Bill on the same page, finally.
I can't wait until next week, but I really don't want to see Eric hurt like that, it was very hard for me to watch tonight.

Re: Episode 3.11 - Fresh Blood
I LOVED this episode, I haven't been disappointed at all. I can understand Jason's issues with Kitch. The kid is a little bitch and needs to be smacked down. The minute I saw that ball whirling, I called V. It's Crystal I have the issue with, Ms. Weirdly Shaped Head is annoying and I wish she would use concealer on that eye, she just irks me.
I sighed at the daydream talk between Sookie and Bill. Ok call me unromantic, but I would roll my eyes if her and Eric did it too. It was filler for me. Sookie's hair is looking shitty and I wish she would try looking attractive again. She's just been looking bad lately. I get the whole stress and crazy shit around her, but damn if you're going to have vamps/were fight over you, look worth fighting over. I'm tired of her screaming and her ugly cry face.
Pam reminds me everytime why I love her! I hated that gold digging whore chaining her neck. Bitch. Bill and Sookie annoyed me as well when they treated Pam that way. So, she sprayed silver, so what? Bill was hyping how much older and stronger he was, why bother with the chain? The moment between Pam and Eric was stunning. So much emotion.
I like the King, he may be fanatic and crazy, but I like him. I too am puzzled about why Eric latched them both together. I can understand not wanting Russel to escape, but how about handcuffing him to one of the black Fangtasia posts first?
Tara and Sam's angry at people sex was hysterical. Arlene, you're becoming a major bitch in my book. Terry is far too good for this woman. Tommy, you little shit, LOL I died when he tried appealing to Sam, looks like while Sam is banging away, Tommy is grabbing his money.
Eric. My wonderful Viking vampire of vengeance and love. Can he do no wrong? His plan about the handcuffs were questionable, but I trust someone will offer him blood. I am curious as to where his and Sookie's bond will lead and how fast.
Heysoos is creepy Halloween mask face to me now Lala opened a door that looks like won't be closing anytime soon. Enter S4 and the witches!

Re: Episode 3.11 - Fresh Blood
So here is my two cents:
Sam- I wished there had been a better way to write his story line this season. I think it had gotten progressively worse and I am not liking at all, just as I hate the way the Calvin/Hotshot story line has been played out.
Lafayette and Jesus- Still thinking that is a strange and dangerous set up there and Lafayette needs to pay attention. Jesus went from being afraid of V and hating it to being nearly seduced by it....
Jason and the Kitch story- I am pretty tired of Jason's story this season. I don't know which is worse, Jason's unrelenting nudity in season one or his unrelenting stupidity in this season...
Now to the juicy bits:
I loved the conversation between Bill and Sookie. I know, those things will never happen, but I thought it was bitter sweet, their simple little dreams til all hell broke loose.
Was glad to see Bill and Eric join forces and help each other, but could Sookie be just a little more dense? Does she really think that Bill and Eric for that matter is selling her out to Russell? Hopefully her anger is just her playing along, but I seriously doubt it.
Eric? I think he is doing what he is doing to make sure Edgington gets finally dead. I think that with the combination of the silver cuffs (which weakens as well as burns Vampires) and the sun burning him and possibly sapping him of strength, he is making the grand gesture of sacrifice. It was sad to see all the racists graffiti sprayed on Fangtasia.
Hoyt and Jessica...that is the story line I could have used more of.
One more Epi and .......

PS.....
Totally pissed off with the way Holly was portrayed.....Witches follow a very high ethical standard and she would NEVER have given Arlene an abortificant. And she would never have sullied the athame with blood....boy, the writers really should have consulted a witch before writing that bit.....

Re: Episode 3.11 - Fresh Blood
Random thought for the episode...
Eric's ringtone?! Priceless! I love you Mr. Northman
I hate to say it, but watching Bill/ Sookie/ Yvetta gang up on Pam pissed me off. I couldn't help but cheer on Pam when she fought Bill. Kudos to her for sticking to her guns and trying to keep Eric's plan in motion.
On that note...I hope (even if we don't see it lol) that Pam tracks Yvetta's gold digging ass down. Yvetta I was a fan at first, but you have crossed the line bitch. You should have been happy that you got some hot sex with not one, but TWO amazing vampires.
Bill and Sookie talking about the future they aren't going to have, was sweet but I couldn't get past Bill talking bad about Eric yet again. Really I'm a bit sick of both of the boys talking bad about each other to her. I'm just throwing this out there, part of me only thinks Bill is working with Eric because he believes Eric will meet his final death...leaving Bill with his precious Suuukeh. :| However I'm just happy they are in on the plan together, and I hope (believe) that they all survive.
At this point I'm ready for Sookie to take a break from vampires, just so I don't have to hear them talk shit about being untrustworthy for an episode. I'm taking this all as part of the build up, for something major...just wonder what AB will do with all this drama once its "time".
Oh and the whole “Maybe if you sit put, like I told you..” made me want to smack Bill lol
Eric's plan, well it has me worried to say the least. I'm hoping...
Watching Eric in the sun was amazing, it is kind of neat that we got to see both of them out in the sun this season. I guess it wasn't to great for Sookie...but meh. LOL
However having to watch poor Pam, broke my heart!
Jessica and Hoyt back together... you know I wasn't all for it. I agreed with Jessica taking more time to work on being vampire, thinking this is the safest thing for Hoyt. However they are just too darn cute together, and talk about a hot little scene. I can honestly say its the first time that I ever thought "Damn..well Hey there Hoyt" ...it was so sweet of him to offer her blood, I really hope she can control herself. Think dirty diapers and maggots or whatever Pam said LOL! I really hope AB explores and uses the new blood bond with them.
This kinda kills my little team Tommy 'ship I had going (mind you I didn't think he and Jessica would be good long term, but a little fling wouldn't have hurt. The flirting was cute on his part). I seem to be alone in liking the poor kid. But it really pissed me off seeing him go back to steal from Sam again. I know big brother was a dick Tommy, but that doesn't mean you couldn't have waited until the next morning to try and talk to him. Much better then stealing! Makes me wonder if Sam will continue on his binge and go crazy on Tommy...please don't shoot him too! I really would like to see Sam get his shit back together and help Tommy become a better person. Maybe all of this is building up to a help them work out some of the issues they both clearly struggle with together?
Poor Sam, he is going to lose all his business if he keeps this up. I agree with pretty much everyone, AB whats up with doing this to Sam? He is a good guy.
I was liking the talk with Tara after chasing everyone off, they had a chance to vent in private. But then they had to get to screwin'. You know I wouldn't mind seeing them as a couple, but I guess we get to see them use each other for drunk pissed off sex. I think if they really tried to talk to each other, heck maybe even sober, they could help each other work out some issues.
I loved seeing Tara talk with Andy! Lets hope having Tara know the truth will help the poor girl heal. It was nice seeing Andy be so honest and the fact that he was really upset over it all. Great acting from these two.
Just go AWAY!
Out of everything going on right now I could care less about Kitch and Jason, if anything I would rather get more information on Hot Shot or Crystal. I at least see that as something we will be dealing with in the future, I mean whats the point of Kitch other then to see Jason be pissy? The raid has me nervous, but I wouldn't mind seeing Felton go.
If there is one good thing I can say about Arlene, is that she bitched at Sam for how he treated Terry. However I hate what she is doing to him with this whole baby mess. Was I worried about the baby prior to what Holly did? No, just because Rene was a killer doesn't mean the child would be. However, after seeing Holly's attempt fail, I wonder if there could be something 'different' about this baby. Forgive me as I don't know much about Witches, or what Holly and Arlene did. But could this cause for something to happen with the baby now, the fact that they did all that and it still survived? Bit off topic, do you think Holly will take her job back at Merlotte's? ..and I wonder how she will play into S4?
Ok Jesus and the whole mask/ different face totally creeped me out. Run LaLa Run!
credits for all gif and screencaps can be found on my tumblr. Sorry I was to lazy to keep track as I posted

- Spoiler:
- that Sookie runs out and saves Eric, but with the whole handcuff/ Russell thing I'm really not sure how she will do it. I just don't think that the sunlight will kill Russell, but like The Dude mentioned in the chat last night, I think it will weaken him and at a faster rate then Eric due to the age difference. I'm hoping that if he is still alive that we can then assume it is him being burried in cement in the final episode.

Um did anyone catch maxine in the preview... WTF is she doing with a gun? I hope she doesn't try and start anything with Jessica?!

Re: Episode 3.11 - Fresh Blood
I know I'm always going to defend Bill, but I don't blame him or Sookie for defending themselves. They didn't know what was going on. It just seemed right that they did that.

I understand Violet, and I agree with you. But it still doesn't mean I'm happy about it Nothing against Bill, but I was happy to see Pam defend herself. Even if they didn't know about Eric's plan yet, she was only trying to help Eric. Now throwing in the comments about Sookie and Bill's relationship prior to the spray...that wasn't needed, but a bit of classic BAMF Pam.

Me too, and for cripes sakes, Sookie does need to stay put sometimes...she is always running off helter skelter...that's how Maryanne got her (Bill told her not to go home) and he told her to stay at Jason's...He told her to not roam around the Vampire Hotel in Dallas because they didn't know enough about the Dallas Vampires...Sookie is stupid Bill, take the two leaves out of the Eric Northman playbook I agree with...Put your hand across her mouth and put a leash on her....

Does Sookie seem a bit more ignorant in the show than in the books? She does to me

Re: Episode 3.11 - Fresh Blood
I have to agree with most of you, there were parts I liked and some I did not.
I really loved the scene with Eric and Pam. It almost brought a little tear to my eye. I also like that there has been more Pam this season.
Um.... did Jesus startle anyone else? I jumped a good 6 inches. Why is Jesus turning into a V addict? I am starting to think that Jesus might be bad news. I was hopeing for La la something good. but I don't know.
Is it me or did Holly look like an amateur with the witchcraft? I thought it didn't look right or feel right.
I am starting to not like Arlene. I really hate the way she is treating Terry.
Yea for Jessica and Hoyt, though Hoyt's mom and doll girl are going to start trouble for them.
What is going on with Sam? I really don't like the direction this is going.

Yep, and that is exactly what Eric did. He put her in a collar and locked her in the basement at Fangtasia, yet she escaped once again.

LOL Fairy! Yeah, Eric did settle that bitch down and Bill had to come save her. He just contradicted his later statement. Men. Vamps.
Sal, I'm not liking Arlene either.
