First thought -
Thank you Hoyt and Jess for doing what I've wanted to do all year. Now if the little flea bag will just get the hint.

Re: Episode 3.10 – I Smell A Rat
I liked this episode too.
It seemed like it was all about confronting the truth.
-Sookie is a fairy.
-Jason fessed up about Eggs.
-Arlene told Terry the truth.
-Looks like Sookie realized she does have feelings for Eric, enough to seek him out and kiss him back.
-Tara revealing what Franklin did to her.
-Hoyt and Jessica, awww.
-Sam coming to terms with his past. It was not easy to watch Sam kill those people.
-Crystal revealed what she was to Jason.
I loved when Jason kicked Bill out of his house after he got in his face like he did. Jason is right, Sookie always does what she wants even at the behest of everyone around her.
I don't know about Jesus and Lafayette and the V, it was a bit odd and hurried.
And why doesn't Sookie, Sam and Tara react the same way to V like these two or like Jason does?

I miss Franklin and his enormous fangs! I suppose he did need to keep his crazy somewhere, just as Amy had her big purse of crazy.
I was a little dissapointed in the panther CGI ... I was hoping for better.. but .. it works for what it needs.
I LOVE the Jesus and Lafayette story line... the whole V sequence was very interesting to see the family lines. * Shaman in a sunday hat*
FINALLY!! Jessica and Hoyt! THANK YOU FOR THAT! I just want to know ONE thing: where is Maxine.. i miss her crazy "like a cat on a hot tin roof" self.

Re: Episode 3.10 – I Smell A Rat
I thought tonights episode was AMAzING! Perhaps one of the most intense. I'm glad they cleared up so many of the questions.
Jason, oh Jason.... I've always had hopes for Jason and Tara and I had it for a glimpse... I hope Tara can forgive Jason and move past what happened. I think it'll be good for Jason that he told Sookie and Tara, I think it was eating at him so bad.
Jesus and Lafayette were great and the V sequence was really interesting. I have a feeling Jesus is alot more than what he's letting on.
I loved the argument between Eric and Bill, I think Eric knows something about Bill that no one else does and I'm curious as to what it is. As soon as Eric said that he wouldnt be around, the change in Sookie's expression said it all. I knew she was dying inside wondering what the hell he ment. I loved the dream sequence..."I know this is a dream" "Then you might as well enjoy it." Fabulous! Idont even have words for what went down in Eric's office. I thought it was amazing. And I love how Sookie tired to pull away at first then totally couldnt resist. It was a great way of showing that all of Sookie's "I hate you Eric... your an awful person....blah blah....I dont have feelings for you, ew....blah... Was all total BS. She wants him, she cant ddeny it. The ending was ridiculous, though I think that Eric is up to something that will actually help Sookie rather than hurt her. I dont know what she's so miffed being locked in his basement anyway...doesnt she remember what she saw last time she went down there?
All in all amazing episode! I cant believe there is only two left and then 10 long months of nothing....Cant wait for next week!

So I'm going to post more later, but work is calling. For now I'll just leave this
Eric / Alex ... amazing as always! Eric does care for her, and I believe his plan is in her best interest as well. Even if there is risk involved.
Sookie - don't fight the kiss and trust Eric please!
Pam/ Kristin... amazing! You tell him Pam, he needs to get rid of Russell and he is smart enough to figure it out and survive. I really hope Pam plays a role in taking Russell out!

Re: Episode 3.10 – I Smell A Rat
Great Epi
So here are my thoughts:
Pam and Eric and Yvetta: I really felt for Pam, she is trying to tell Eric she feels the same love for him Eric felt for Godric. The bit with Yvetta, that was righteous...he conned her out of some pussy and left her high and dry.....
Jason: I never felt so sorry for a person in all my life. Telling Tara about Eggs and the flash backs he had of Eddie and Eggs after killing Franklin was pretty rough for him and the two peas that constitute his brain.
Tara: I really feel sorry for her. She has had nothing but trouble from the men in her life.
Sam: Was it just me or did Sam remind you of Bill and Lorena from last season, his hair slicked back and the scenario of him and that girl playing the grifter game and going through that jewelry and picking out a necklace for her and she wiggling around so he could put it on her.....Of course he did get them in the end...Tortured soul.
Lafayette and Hey Soos: Dream walking on V...you know you can look forward to some tasty mythology...
Calvin and Crystal and Jason: Did Calvin just abjure her? I think he was bothered more by the fact that Lafayette and Hey Soos were the ones looking after him as much as being given the V. And then showing up in Jay's house as panther...very cool
Jason and Bill: Why didn't Bill ask him about the Vampire blood on him? Vampires would know the diff wouldn't they?
Sookie and Bill: So Claudine did trust Bill with Sookie's secret. That was a relief. Loved he forswore drinking from her but hated that he is still keeping stuff from her.
Jessica and Hoyt: Jessica was so strong with Arlene. Poor chere, imagine what it is like for her, being put down all the time for being what she is. Tommy, stay away from her...she is Hoyt's and now that he has some of her blood in her, he will think of her all the time and she will bonded to him. I really felt sorry for her when she saw the cross burning in the yard and could not do anything about it and I loved that Bill appeared by her side...very cool.
Eric and Bill: Eric should have done more to pull Bill in to help him instead of alienating him....What does he hope to accomplish with that? I certainly won't put Eric in Sookie's good books.
Eric and Sookie: The dream was good, but the kissing in his office was better...but again, the Viking shows his mercenary side by manacling her down in his dungeon...Cheer up Sookie, at least it is moderately clean down there.
Russell and the prostitute: I am torn between feeling a little sorry for him and really hating him....
And where the hell is Sophie Anne?

Re: Episode 3.10 – I Smell A Rat
Loved the post mortem video. I especially loved when Steve Newlin said in the end, "what's going on today?" Maybe you should hold a mirror up, Steve!
Jason stole this episode for me. I was surprised that I wanted Tara to kiss him. It was sincere and I think it surprised Jason. Hard to watch him confess what he did, but he couldn't hold it in anymore. I wonder how she's going to take it.
I know most of you are Eric girls so I don't want to push any buttons, but I just don't know what plan Eric has for Sookie. Seeing the preview for next week it doesn't look too good for her. Eric, you got some splanin' to do.
I agree aslinn about Sam's storyline reminding you of Bill's. These two should have a beer/blood and talk about their problems. They might surprise each other in how much they're alike.

Re: Episode 3.10 – I Smell A Rat
Great episode. I love that all the truths started comeing out. Im so happy that Jason fessed up about Eggs now maybe he can move on and so can Tara. I really wish Tara the best poor girl she's haveing a hard time she really needs to catch a break.
When me and hubby saw Sam's flash back hubbys exact words were "Sam was a bada**" . I hated seing Sam like that. I love the Lovey collie Sam.. not the bad Sam. Im so proud of Terry..he's such a good guy i hope Arleane doesnt do wrong by him. I really hate that AB has turned HotShot into such a Whisky Tango situation, I mean yeah HotShot was bad in the books but AB has made it 10 times worse.
Tommy is bad news all around.. i agree West, stalker much. Why is Tommy so fixed on getting Jessica?
Speaking of our redheaded baby vamp.. thank goodness her and Hoyt are back together. Im so happy the biscuit troll is gone. Oh and not to be mean to the Bill girls but Go Jason it's your birthday Go Jason!! I loved how he kicked Bill out of his house.. Bill had no right to jump in his face like that.
Yay now everyone knows that Sookie is a Fariy and Crystal and the hotshot gang are panthers.
AB you are going to have several women mad at you if you turn Suckie againts Eric im just sayin. Pam i loved you this episode put your amazingly heeled foot down hunny.
That's all i have now may add more later..

I can see why Bill is mad, but we all know and Bill does too, that Sookie will do whatever she wants. It might seem odd, but at least by chaining her up Eric knows where she is and won't let her go out on her own. lol

Re: Episode 3.10 – I Smell A Rat
My thoughts on last night’s offering………..
Sookie: Just what did you expect with fire shooting from your fingertips, to be descended from a smurf? While we’re talking about it, for the love of Godric pick one.
Bill: I love you babe, but you know you’re gonna get it in the ass with only sharing bits and pieces.
Jason: I know you’ve had a rough night but sweetie, ever heard of timing?
Tara: Poor girl, you’ve got crap luck with men for sure.
Eric: Wake up and smell the fairy loverboy, you don’t piss off your womenfolk like that and not come out unscathed. I’d guard my dangly bits if I were you, Yvetta could get nasty. Also, chaining a fairy in your basement won’t earn you any brownie points even if the place is clean.
Pam: I’m with you girl, what the hell would you do with a farm in freeze your ass off Sweden? Eric needs to keep his vampire ass in one piece and stop being a weenie about it we all need him. (Yes, even Bill girls like Eric) Who else would appreciate your taste in shoes?
Yvetta: You’re surprised why?
Jesus: V? You really should know better.
Lafayette: Hallucinating about your great-great-great- granny is never a good thing. Think about it.
Calvin: You’re alive and kicking. Don’t be such a pussy.
Crystal: I like you best as a panther, want me to send Jason some catnip?
Biscuit Troll: If that was an attempt at seduction, you totally suck at it.
Tommy: Don’t be such a dog cutie pie, or you could find yourself with an appointment at the vet………….. Ever heard of neutering?
Hoyt: Sweet smack there Bear!
Jessica: Looks like your fangs are causing wood all over the place, way to go girlfriend! Bond with Hoyt baby!
Sam: Jack isn’t the answer.
Terry: Don’t ever let anyone put you down! You’re a real man!!
Arlene: I’ve got no words for you………… Jessica said it best.
Holly: Girl, you gotta think before you offer help, not everyone is open to the Craft.
Russell: Sweet thing, you know if you break it……… you bought it and darlin’ boy you sure as hell broke that poor boy.

Re: Episode 3.10 – I Smell A Rat
I had to watch this episode a few times before being able to express my feelings about it.
Tara and Jason: Both of these poor characters have been tormented. Poor Jason tries to do the right thing, but it was not the right time to tell Tara the truth about Eggs.
The Panthers: I'm still not a Crystal fan, and this group of felines if the last thing poor Jason needs.
Lala and Hey Soos: These segments helped us understand a little more about these characters and their "powers."
Tommy and Sam: I like most of AB's storylines, but I don't like what he is doing to Sam. Sam doesn't need at this darkness. Tommy, on the other hand, needs a butt kicking, and I think he will get it before the season is finished.
Jessica and Hoyt: Yay! Maybe there is still hope. Maxine will absolutely explode right out of her girdle.
Russell: Now that Russell has had his little ceremonial grieving period, I think he will begin to concentrate on getting his revenge.
Bill: He may have over-reacted a little with Jason, but Jason has been through a rough time too. I keep hoping Bill with tell Sookie the truth voluntarily before anything else happens, but we will see. It was nice to see Bill making an effort at being a good maker. He seems to be taking much better care of Jessica now. By the way, I think Bill realized the blood all over Jason and Tara was vampire blood and that he assumed it was Franklin's. He probably figured Franklin deserved what he got.
Eric and Pam: Thank goodness Pam was able to convince Eric to be more proactive, though clearly some people don't approve of his course of action. As always, I have faith in Eric, and I don't believe he intends Sookie harm. She obviously is not safe in her own house and Jason and Bill can't convince her to lie low for a while. It may be extreme, but locking her in the basement may be what the little hard ass needs to keep her alive for a while. It would be nice if she offered Eric enough blood (without killing her of course) so he can stake Russell in the day time when he is at his day rest. (And damn, that kiss was hot, hot, hot!)
Sookie: Since the truth is sprouting up everywhere, Sookie must also face the truth about her feelings for Eric. And before everyone says it's just Eric's blood making her have feelings for him, remember she has had much more of Bill's blood than Eric's.
Where the hell is Sophie Ann? It will be interesting to see whose side she comes down on, Eric's or Russell's.
I wish all the supes would come together to take Russell down. If the Fae know Russell is after her, maybe they will offer assistance. Niall, where the hell are you?
Note to Yvetta: You are what you are honey. Live with it.

Re: Episode 3.10 – I Smell A Rat
Whew!!! So much truth and confrontation in that epi!
I agree...it was hard to watch Sam kill those people. I never thought he would have THAT kind of darkness. Just seems like a parallel universe that couldn't exist!
Jason...great, emotional scenes this week. I LOVED his scene with Bill. GTFO Bill!!! Hee hee.
Damnit Pam! Why did you have to walk in when Eric was about to tell Sookie the truth? It was on the tip of his tongue. Grrrrr! Kinda bugs that Pam is so anti-Sookie. I quite enjoy the banter and repoire that they have in the books. Oh well...maybe it will reveal itself. It DOES make a whole lotta sense that Pam would desperately want to sacrifice anything for Eric. Especially after we witnessed him losing Godric.
So...Eric throws Sookie in the basement. For her protection? Until he can figure out his next move? The next week's preview has me REALLY confused. If Eric in any way hurts Sookie to get Russell...I just don't see how that can repair itself in a relationship. It looks pretty bad!

A neat analysis of this episode. I just started following this blog, so I can't comment about the rest of the posts, but they make some interesting points here.
