I'm on a James Patterson kick. Just read When the Wind Blows and am now reading the 1st Woman's Murder Club. I just bought the 1st Anita Blake book and plan to start it this weekend. I am going to start reading the Lily Bard novels soon.

Huh. I received "Bullet" in the mail today - the latest Anita Blake novel. Here's the kicker. It's official release is TOMORROW. Now why am I not reading this on my Kindle? - that's a whole other rant for me!
So I guess I'll be bedding down with Anita and the boys tonight!

Re: What are you reading?
I'm starting BEST SERVED COLD by Joe Abercrombie tonight. I hope it lives up to the First Law trilogy which I really enjoyed.
- Spoiler:
- Abercrombie returns to the blood-drenched arena of the First Law trilogy (The Blade Itself, etc.) with this skillfully crafted and bleakly humorous sword and sorcery adventure. Duke Orso imagines that he can become king by ending the civil wars that have devastated Styria, but he errs by trying to kill his overly popular general, mercenary Monza Murcatto. Recovering from her massive injuries and mourning her murdered brother, Monza vows vengeance on Orso and half a dozen of his accomplices. Employing her own motley crew of death dealers, Monza gets her revenge, but it's neither simple nor satisfying; each target requires fresh strategy, and each death has unexpected effects. Abercrombie is both fiendishly inventive and solidly convincing, especially when sprinkling his appallingly vivid combat scenes with humor so dark that it's almost ultraviolet. (Aug.)

Re: What are you reading?
I recently finished Lover Mine, gotta love those guys! Talk about S-E-X-Y. Wouldn't mind that series as a show.
I also finshed Dead In The Family, I didn't think it was good as the others. It was missing something.
Also just finished Horns by Joe Hill (Stephen King's son).
I am now reading Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill. The sales girl said it was so scary she could not finish it.... we will see.

Re: What are you reading?
My favorite? That is hard. I like John Matthew. But, I also find Rehvenge interresting too. That is a hard question for me. All of the guys have different qualities that I find appealing. But I think Butch and Marissa have a great story between them.
I love the way that the men are so taken with their females.
Though, I have wondered about J.R. Ward's fascination with cunnilingus!

I just finished The Desert Spear by Peter V. Brett. It is a follow up to The Warded Man. I can't wait for his next book to come out now, I'm really enjoying this new series or the Demon Cycle as its being called.
Next up is the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost (thanks again Fairy!)

From what I hear, they are extremely sexual. However, that is a Laurell K. Hamilton trademark. Bloody Bones is a great book. I am reading Bullet right now actually. :)
